Got an Ugly Sweater?

Don't worry, you don't have to look like this guy anymore

Don’t worry, you don’t have to look like this guy anymore

A fun promotion and for a good cause for this Saturday’s game against the West Kelowna Warriors. I will now be scavenging Value Village for a real gem.,.

Did you get another ugly sweater for Christmas again? Want to get rid of it?

The Canadian Diabetes Association – Clothesline Program will take it!

Our game night sponsor Kirk Chamberlain & Associates of Coldwell Banker have partnered up with the Canadian Diabetes Association to promote the Clothesline Project.

A CDA truck will be parked out on the plaza the night of the game collecting donations.

About the Clothesline Project:

The Clothesline Project was designed to make donating easy and convenient.  People coming to the Vees game on Saturday are encouraged to bring small household items (clothes, toaster, blender, toys, etc.) in a box or bag and drop them in the donation truck before they enter the SOEC through Gate 1.  100% of the proceeds from donated items will go towards research for a cure, education programs, advocacy and summer camps for kids.

“Take a look…a cure for Diabetes may be hiding in your closets & cupboards.”
