Vees Move Up CJHL Rankings

The Penticton Vees moved up 11 spots in the CJHL weekly Top 20 rankings, climbing all the way to 7th from 18th. The dramatic move was the result of the Vees perfect 4-0 record last week, capped off by winning their eighth straight on Sunday in Victoria.

The Vees are now the highest ranked BCHL team, as Powell River is the only other team inside the Top 20 (16th). Nice to see the Vees gets some recognition for their strong play of late, but again, these rankings are good for debate and not much else.

The Vees have a few days off before they look to win their ninth in a row on Friday, when they host West Kelowna. It’s the first of a home-and-home with the Warriors, as the two meet again the following night at Royal LePage Place; the Vees final game before the Christmas break.
