A few weeks back I posted Hunter Miska’s completed mask that he’ll wear for the 2014-2015 season (CLICK HERE for a refresher). Today we bring you Miska’s partner Brendan Barry’s mask for the upcoming season.
Simple yet effective is the phrase that comes to mind when looking at this freshly painted bucket. What makes this mask even more unique is the fact Hunter Miska painted it himself and boy he hit a home run. It’s a simple concept with a team theme to it but the longer you look at the mask, you realize it isn’t that simple.
There is plenty of detail in the background, as Miska airbrushed faded maple leafs and the word “Penticton” throughout the mask. What stands out is the two Vees logos on each side of the mask, separated by a striking blue stripe down the middle that has black and white trim. As most goalies do, the surname “Barry” is featured prominently on the chin of the mask in an aggressive/edgy looking font. Barry’s backplate features the number one which is bunched together with a four-leaf clover.
Can’t wait to see it action.
