Frozen Four Thursday in Boston

Today is the start of Frozen Four in Boston, as the two national semi-finals go tonight at the TD Bank Garden. The earlY semi-final has University of Nebraska-Omaha facing Providence College, and the nightcap features North Dakota University facing off against Boston University.

Both semi-finals will air nationally on TSN2 in Canada and ESPN2 in the United States. Six Vees alumni are on two of the four teams. James Polk and Kyle Mountain are on the UNO squad and Mark MacMillan (injured), Brendan O’Donnell, Troy Stecher and Wade Murphy are on UND.


University of Nebraska-Omaha vs. Providence College 2pm PST

University of North Dakota vs. Boston University 5:30pm PST.

Boston’s TD Garden plays host to the 2015 Frozen Four starting Thursday and 15 BCHL graduates will be involved.

From the BCHL:

The 15 players represent seven different BCHL clubs and five of the players are NHL draft picks. The Penticton Vees have six former players in the Frozen Four while the Powell River Kings have three. There are eight B.C.-born players taking part.

TSN will carry the semifinals and the national championship game. Thursday’s semifinals will be on TSN2 at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Pacific. The Final will be Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Pacific on TSN3.
