Jost, Fabbro & Canada Win Gold

Tyson Jost, Dante Fabbro and Team Canada struck gold, again, at the Under-18 Ivan Hlinka Memorial Cup in the Czech Republic Saturday. Canada now the 8-time defending gold medalists

Canada downed the Swedes 7-3 in the Gold Medal game. Jost picked up an assist in that win. In fact, he finished with 3 goals and 4 points in 5 games. Fabbro was pointless but by all accounts, was one of the best defensemen for the Canucks; tournament too.

Now the two Vees make the transatlantic journey back to Penticton ahead of Main Camp on Monday, August 24th, at the SOEC.

Cool photo above of Fabbro, former Vees Assistant Coach Matt Sells and Jost. Sells who was a staff member of the 2012 RBC Cup team, now works with Hockey Canada in Calgary. Vees past and present.
