Vees vs. Brooks: Line-Ups

The Vees host the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Brooks Bandits tonight, for the start of a weekend double-header. The Vees are coming off of 3-2 and 4-3 wins over the West Kelowna Warriors in the last week. Brooks is 3-1 through four exhibition games, including a 11-0 thumping of the Kindersley Klippers in their last game.

As you can see, the Vees are icing the same line-up as Wednesday but Brendan Barry should see an entire game. Wednesday the original plan was to have Barry and Brodeur share the crease and then each have a game this weekend. Well, Barry got into a scrap and the plans changed. So Anthony Brodeur will go the distance tomorrow in net.

Yes, the Vees have different numbers tonight because they’re wearing white practice-style jerseys to prevent a colour clash with Brooks; both teams had blue jerseys.

You can watch the game online tonight, via the league’s pay-per-view package on http://www.fasthockey.com. Puck drop is 7 pm PST or 8 pm if you’re tuning in from Alberta.
