Dante Fabbro, Tyson Jost and Canada West face Canada East in an all-Canadian Semi-Final match up at the World Junior ‘A’ Challenge in Ontario this afternoon; 4 pm PST / 7 pm ET.
Canada West finished 2-0 in round-robin play, after picking up wins over the Czech Republic (7-3) and the United States (3-2). Jost leads Canada West in scoring through two games, with a goal and four points; Fabbro is tied for second with two assists.
Canada East split their two round-robin games, winning big over Switzerland (8-3) before being thumped 6-1 by the Russians. Canada East booked a spot in the Semis after edging the Czechs 3-2 Wednesday.
In other Semi-Final action, USA face Russia, also at 4 pm PST.
